Home School

While home-schooled children have all the academic advantages, they lack the accessibility and infrastructure that schools have for sports, especially team sports.
 
Active Education provides two-hour weekly sporting lessons on selected days, accommodating various areas around Johannesburg and the East Rand. We run classes from Action Sports arenas and other suitable venues within home school communities. The areas currently covered include Sandton, Silverlakes, Benoni and Krugersdorp.
 
Our sports and activity programmes accommodate children of the ages 3 to 7 (Kids in Action) and 8 to 18 (Active Education Primary and High).

We are looking for more children in Midrand. Once we have sufficient numbers, we will put times and dates online.
 
The first lessons for the year begin during the first week of February 2011.
 
The cost of the programme is R160 a month, for 11 months, plus an initial registration fee of R150. This is a once-off, non-refundable joining fee and it includes a Kids In Action t-shirt, cap and year-end medal.

Directions to Fourways venue
 
From Montecasino Boulevard robots, head north on William Nicol passing all shopping centers (approx 4 robots).

At 5th robot by Dainfern (Broadacres Drive) on William Nicol (NOT Cedar Rd), head 1km further north. Turn right at Stone River Estate, 100m before the Jukskei River Bridge. Immediately right again past Calysta Town houses. Straight to end of dirt road. At Badham’s Kennels green gate, press office buzzer. Bear right and drive to The Shed behind the kennels.
